Kuribayashi Amika from This Ugly and Beautiful World

Major conversion from ``standing nude'' figure given by a friend.
All joints except elbows (including neck) repostioned. Hair resculpted from epoxy putty as were joints and bikini.
The first image here is the picture which inspired this conversion.

Serio from To Heart.

She's from a 1:8 scale Kotobukiya kit.
The base is an actual wafer if HP PA-8000 processor chips, which is is fitting as Serio is a robot.

She's from a 1:8 scale Kotobukiya kit.
I made the stripes on her jacket from strips of painted decal film rather than masking and painting them directly.

The base and veranda she's seated on are scratchbuilt, while the lantern is from a gaming accessory.

Misumaru Yurika and Hoshino Ruri from Martian Successor Nadesico

They're from a 1:8 scale kits by Kotobukiya.
Ruri's pose was modified from sitting on the floor, and her chair, Yurika's bridge-console and base were scratchbuilt from styrene.

This was my first major conversion of an anime girl kit. It started when I had real trouble with the hip joint on this hollow vinyl kit.

Scratchbuilt in 1:87 from styrene etc.
The difficult part of this was determining the exact layout of the building itself. It was drawn 2 different ways in the Anime and Rumiko Takahashi never seemed to draw it the same way twice in the manga.
